Buffing: pick up a little Leather Care on the bristles, work it in with circles, then keep buffing until the finish evens out.
Light marks: lift them with the brush rather than rubbing at them.

Why wool and not horsehair?

Wool is softer and holds balm better, so it spreads more evenly on delicate finishes. Horsehair is stiff enough to damage more delicate leathers like lambskin.

Can I use it on suede?

Suede needs a suede brush, which is a different tool with a different job.

How do I clean the brush?

Wipe the bristles on a clean dry cloth. Do not wash it.

Used this with the leather care to buff my bag. Not as soft as expected but soft enough. Size is good for reaching corners and inside the compartments.

Bought the leather cleaner, leather care and leather buffing brush. The cleaner worked really well. I used it to clean a few leather items (jacket, and bags). It feels gentle enough but did the job. After drying well I then used the leather care with the brush to condition the leather. Overall my leather items now look fresh and brand new. Seller was also v kind to answer my questions.
