Bee’s Knees is a classic in the world of cocktails. But you probably didn't know this cocktail can have a healthier version that boosts your immunity. How’s that for a 2 in 1 beverage!?
We paired with Jayden Ong (ex-bartender at Jigger & Pony and runner-up at bartending competition Diageo World Class in 2017) to help us concoct this cocktail with a twist - a healthier but just as delicious Bee Knees.
Instead of table sugar or regular honey, Jayden used our Anaya trigona honey not only as a natural sweetener but also to add an incredible depth of flavour with its unique flavour profile to the cocktail.
The result was a cocktail that was so easy to make at home requiring minimal ingredients and bar equipment, delicious and even nutritious. Truly a healthy indulgence that you never have to feel guilty about. Cheers!
Cinnamon Bee's Knees Recipe by Jayden Ong
Ingredients:
30ml Gin
15ml Lemon
3 teaspoons Anaya's Trigona honey
2 Cinnamon sticks
Ice cubes
Equipment:
Shaker/Mason Jar
Small strainer
Glass
Teaspoon
Instructions:
Mix together ingredients, shake and strain
