Nature's healing antibiotic, from a bee that doesn't sting

There's propolis, and there's Trigona propolis. Our stingless bees seal their hives with it, fighting off bacteria and fungus in the same humid forests your body is fighting off colds in. We just bottle what they already figured out, in three ways: to swallow, to apply, and to carry.

Why Trigona propolis

Most propolis on the market comes from Apis mellifera, the common honeybee. Ours comes from Trigona Biroi, a stingless bee that builds its hives in the Philippines' pristine forests.

The difference shows up in testing. Trigona propolis carries three times the antioxidant activity of the propolis most research is based on. That's not a marketing number. It's what happens when a bee forages somewhere nobody's sprayed anything in decades.

Choose Your Format

Same propolis, three ways in. Pick by what you're treating and where.

Propolis Extract - for daily immunity and recovery

Alcohol based, taken under the tongue or in water. Our strongest format, pulled out of raw propolis the traditional tincture way, no heat, no chemicals. Rich in bioflavonoids, Artepillin C, enzymes, minerals, and organic acids, with bee pollen still in it.

Good for immune maintenance, bouncing back from illness, cold sores, mouth ulcers, and swelling. Also suits people who'd rather take a food based supplement than a tablet.

How to use: One to two droppersful, twice a week, for maintenance. One dropperful, twice a day, if you're feeling unwell. Half that for children between one and three, with a little honey for the taste. Shake well and keep it refrigerated.

Propolis Oil - for skin, eczema, and anyone avoiding alcohol

Two ingredients only: Trigona propolis and extra virgin olive oil. No alcohol, no fragrance, no preservatives, no steroids. The propolis fights inflammation and bacteria like Staphylococcus aureus, a common eczema trigger. The olive oil rebuilds the skin barrier and cuts water loss, so skin stays hydrated instead of cracking further.

Safe from age one, and gentle enough for daily use on the face. Unlike a corticosteroid cream, it carries no risk of thinning skin over time, so it can be used long term, even alongside a steroid treatment if your doctor has prescribed one.

How to use: One to two drops directly on the affected area, two to three times a day, ideally just after bathing while skin is still slightly damp. Once daily is enough for maintenance between flares.

Propolis Throat Spray - for travel bags and school runs

The convenience format. A quick spray for a scratchy throat when you're out, low in sugar, sweet and herbal rather than medicinal, with no side effects reported.

Independent testing found it kills 83% of the bacteria it's aimed at. It won't replace the Extract for a regular routine, but it's the one that actually makes it into a bag or a glove compartment.

How to use: A few sprays directly to the back of the throat, as needed.

Common questions

What's actually different between the three formats? The base. Extract uses alcohol, Oil uses extra virgin olive oil, Spray uses a low sugar liquid carrier. Same Trigona propolis in all three, chosen for how and where you're using it.

Can I use the Oil internally too? Yes, some people use a drop in a smoothie or directly on a mouth ulcer. It's formulated primarily for topical use, but it doesn't contain alcohol, so it's gentler if you're giving it to a child.

Can I give any of these to my kids? The Extract and Oil are both fine from age one, at half the adult dose. The Spray hasn't been formulated with a children's dose, so stick to the Extract or Oil for younger kids.

Why does the Extract contain alcohol if the others don't? Alcohol is what pulls the active compounds out of raw propolis resin. It's the standard tincture method, and it's why the Extract is the strongest of the three. If you need to avoid alcohol, the Oil or Spray cover the same ground without it.
