A BRIEF COMPARISON BETWEEN TRIGONA HONEY AND MANUKA HONEY
Manuka honey is produced by apis mellifera bees which collect nectar from the manuka plant. The active level depends on the frequency of the bees visiting the manuka flower.
Anaya's Trigona honey is from tetragonula biroi bees. Due to their unique hive structure, propolis is consistently infused into the honey regardless of nectar source. – lending to its consistent antibacterial potency.
